Gandhi Park is now going to have a Toy Train from the month of December. A children’s park is being constructed in Gandhi Park under the Amrit Project. The Toy Train will be having 5 bogies and will be running on a 1400ft long track. A safe and sound trial of the train has been done by Nagar Nigam and the train will soon be open for kids to hop on to.

The Toy Train in Gandhi Park Dehradun is conceived under the Amrit Project which is aimed at making a spectacular children’s park in Gandhi Park. The investment of Rs 1.5 crore in the children’s park will change the infrastructure of the Gandhi Park completely. Along with the swings the Toy Train will be available for a ride for all the children. The Toy Train of 5 bogies can hold up to 30 children at once. After laying the track and doing a safe test of the Toy Train, it will be running in the midst of the lush greenery of Gandhi Park from the month of December.

Other Amenities at Gandhi Park’s Children Park

The Children’s Park in Gandhi Park is also going to have a selfie zone, where the kids will be able to take selfies with the swings and Toy Train along with their friends. A small refreshment area to rejuvenate the kids, Landscaping, Green Molds etc will also be seen at this exquisite Children’s Park of Gandhi Park.
