Affiliation of the Unison School, Dehradun

The school is affiliated to the Council of Indian School Certificate Examination (CISCE), New Delhi. It follows the patter on ISCE for Class X and ISC for Class XII. The Curriculum of the ISCE Board is started from Grades IV to XII. The academic year of each session begins in April every year.

The Unison School is also a Registered Centre for CIE (University of Cambridge International Examination) offering the IGCSE (IX-X) and A/AS Level (XI-XII) curriculum.

The UWS shall seek the girls from diverse cultural and social background who demonstrate a desire to constantly learn and grow. The academic session commences in April each year. The year is divided into the following 2 terms.

Registration in The Unison World School, Dehradun

The Registration form can be downloaded from the school’s official website. A registration fee is to be submitted along with the registration form a fee of Rs 15000(Students of Indian Nationality)/ USD 500(Foreign Nationality) is to be sent at the school’s correspondence address along with the following documents.

1. Birth Certificate.
2. Two Passport Size Photograph of the child.
3. Copy of Permanent Address Proof.
4. Copy of Passport (if available).

Registration for Grade 5th onward except 10th and 12th are open.

The registration fee is not refundable and non adjustable under any circumstances. The acceptance of the registration form and fee does not guarantee admission to the student prospective.

Step 2:  Verification:

Verification of Registration Forms will be done by the Admission Office.

Step 3: Registration Confirmed:

If the Registration form is found to be correct, a confirmation of the registration will be dispatched to the parents.
An Admit Card along with the syllabus, date of General Aptitude Test (GAT)  and sample question papers will be dispatched to the parents.

Step 4: Aptitude Test:

For Classes V – IX Tested on: Proficiency in English, Hindi, Mathematics and Logical Reasoning
For Class XI Science Medical/ Non Medical and Combined Tested on: (Proficiency in English, Integrated Science (Physics, Chemistry, Biology), Mathematics and Logical Reasoning)
For Class XI Commerce Tested on: Proficiency in English, Hindi, Mathematics and Logical Reasoning
For Class XI Humanities Tested on: Proficiency in English, Social Science (History/Civics, Geography and Economics), Mathematics and Logical Reasoning

Each Paper will be of 30 minutes duration and will carry 25 maximum marks. In addition, students will be graded in their English conversation.

Step 5. Merit List:

Based on the performance in Aptitude Test, a Merit List of the candidates will be declared. A Provisional Admission letter will be send to the parents of successful applicants. These parents are required to complete all the admission formalities, at the earliest.
