Glacier Public School is Senior Secondary School which is affiliated to the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE), New Delhi. The school was established in 1994 by Mr. Hitendra Singh Chettri. The school started its functioning from July 1, 1994 with a staff of 2 teachers and 21 students and today the number has increased up to 1400 students, 40 teachers and about 7 ancillary staff on roll. Glacier Public School is conducting classes from playgroup to class XII.

The main motive of the school was to provide quality education in the areas which are remote as the founders of the school unequivocally believed that every child has the right to education and should not be deprived of their basic right. The school aims at bringing a qualitative progress  in all spheres of education and to develop values in all type of students.  The School is committed to improve day to day performance of the students by providing value based education.
