Doon Valley Public School is a co-educational boarding and day school which offers the students a better and more diversified learning. The school was established in April 1982 by r Late. Founder Shri. G.R. Shimal and his wife Mrs. Chandra Prabha Shimal. The school offers world-class education in an environment that enables every student to learn and grow to their fullest potential.

Hostel Boarding at Doon Valley Public School, Dehradun

The aim of Doon Valley Public School is to make the students feel at home. The health and welfare of the students is carefully looked after by the warden/matron guided by a student counsellor and a student mentor.

The students are accommodated in spacious dormitories. Only four children are placed in one room. All rooms have attached toilets with students being provided individual wardrobes and study desks. Live in staff and helpers ensure the well being, safety and comfort of the students at all times. 24 hours security services are provided for residential students to ensure their safety and security. There are separate dormitories for boys and girls.

Registration and Admission Procedure Doon Valley Public School, Dehradun

At Doon Valley Public School both boys and girls are eligible for day boarding, but only boys can avail the boarding facilities. While applying for an admission in the Doon Valley Public School, candidates must fulfill the minimum age requisition as on 1st July of the present academic year. For admission in the school candidates must fulfill the following age requirements.
For Class I-5 years
For Class II- 6+ and so on.

If anyone wants his/her child to have an admission in the school then the parent/guardian must collect the application form along with the registration form and prospectus. The parents/guardian are suppose to fill both the application and registration forms.

To take an admission in the Doon Valley Public School, one has to appear in both the written test and personal interview. Students are given the admission on the basis of their performances of these tests. The mere registration of the student does not ensure the admission in the school. Candidates must have to appear for the interview and a written entrance test on the particular date of admission.
