Doon School is a complete boy’s independent boarding school in Dehradun, Uttarakhand, India. Doon School is a very well known amongst the best school in India. It was founded in 1936 By Satish Ranjan Das a Kolkata Lawyer.

Curriculum in Doon School, Dehradun

Doon School offers the Indian Certificate of Secondary Education in 10th grade and there after offered two choices for final two years: International Baccalaureate (IB) or Indian School Certificate. Both exams are held together in the month of March.

Admission process in Doon School, Dehradun

The School admits students every year in month of January and April whereas in January it admits 8th Standard boys (known as C form) & in April it admits 7th Standard boys (D form). The School does not admit students after 8th standard. Doon school has around 500 Students aged 13-18 and many are there from overseas countries.

There is a admission process where the boy have to write entrance test conducted in the major cities in India (Bangalore, Chennai, Delhi, Hyderabad, Jaipur, Kolkata, Lucknow, Mumbai and Dehradun).  After clearing this written test the boy have to go for Personal interview, the interview are usually done in December. Entrance Exam is held on the 1st Sunday of November every year.
