Mythological Tale related to Laxman Siddh Temple
As per the religious beliefs of the Hindus, the Laxman Siddh Temple is the site where Lord Laxman, the younger brother of Lord Rama indulged in a prolonged penance after annihilating the demon, Ravana. Saint Swami Laxman Siddh who underwent serious meditation at this place was cremated at this site.
Laxman Siddh Fair
The divine Laxman Siddh temple hosts a grand fair each year on the last Sunday of April month. A large number of visitors come here to pay homage to the Samadhi and to see the cultural and traditional mix of Dehradun.

The nearest rail connectivity Dehradun railway station is at 10 km away from Laxman Siddh. The closest airport, Jolly Grant is at 19 km away from the temple.
