Clock Tower is a famous and iconic landmark in Dehradun situated at the intersection of Chakrata Road and Rajpur Road, near Paltan Bazaar. It was constructed from 1948 to 1953 to commemorate India’s independence. The names of the freedom fighters who laid their lives are written on a golden plaque on the Clock Tower.
