About the Booknerds Hangout: Speed Reading Competition

The Booknerds Hangout: Speed Reading is being organised by the Booknerds. The event will be held at Patio Terrace Restaurant , Hotel Boulevard, Dehradun on 7th Jan from 03:00 pm-05:00 pm. The event is one amongst the many events organised by The Booknerds to upgrade the skills of literature, reading and communication in the gen-y.

The Speed Reading Event is an initiative by the Booknerds to promote speed reading as it a very important skill in today’s times where we are being bombarded by a ton of information.
The event shall be conducted by using fiction/non-fiction books and every participant will be given an assigned number of pages, after the readers will complete their assigned number of pages a series of comprehensive questionnaire will be followed from the readers which will allow them to demonstrate that they have fully read the material given to them. This will then be used to determine the score which will decide the winner of the competition.

The winner of the Speed Reading shall be crowned the first ever The Booknerds Speed Reader and will be awarded certificate and goodies from the Booknerds.
