The Army School Birpur was established in Dehradun under the patronage of Army Welfare Education Society (AWES), Army Public School Birpur is a co-educational , English medium school. It is affiliated with the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE), New Delhi. The school began its first academic year in 2006 and today it is one amongst the leading schools in the city.

• Children of civilians paid out of Defence Estimates, Para Military Forces including Coast Guard, MES, GREF, TA (when not embodied).
