About Carman Residential and Day School, Dehradun

The Carman Residential and day School, Dehradun was founded on 3rd March 1960 by Mr and Mrs I.L.G Mann in the majestic Doon Valley. The school has been producing well-learned, confident and dynamic children. The school is located near Premnagar, Dehradun. Affiliated to the Council for Indian School Certificate Examinations (ICSE), New Delhi.

The school is registered under the laws made by the Government of India and is a co-educational school that has children from all kinds of backgrounds, caste and creed with no discrimination or any reservation. The medium of education and communication is English.

Hostel & Boarding Facilities at Carman School, Dehradun

The school has separate hostel facilities for both boys and girls separately. The hostel for boys is distributed into three segments Junior, Middle and Senior Dorm.

The girls have a separate dormitory and the Principal is in direct contact with all the students. A matron and house masters are there to look after the students along with a well trained nurse who lives in the campus and looks after the School’s infirmary.

Registration is done throughout the year and is not transferable to any other year. Admissions are done depending on the number of vacancies in all classes and under no condition to classes X and XII.
